Bild zum Guide: Moonlight Peaks Feste und Events Guide

A cozy sim lives or dies by its calendar, and Moonlight Peaks leans into its gothic seasons hard. Festivals here aren’t just decoration — they’re where the whole town turns up at once, where romance gets its big set-pieces, and where the game’s Halloween-soaked personality really comes out. This guide rounds up the events confirmed so far and how to make the most of them.

How events work

There are several festivals a year — roughly one a month — and each is seasonal, appearing at its point in the year the same way crops are. Keep an eye on the in-game calendar so a festival doesn’t sneak past you — missing one usually means waiting a full in-game year for it to come round again. Events gather the townsfolk in one place, which makes them prime opportunities to talk to people, hand out gifts, and nudge your relationships along faster than a normal night allows. Some festivals ask you to bring a specific item, and most put out shelves of exclusive furniture and recipes you can’t get any other way, so they’re worth turning up prepared for. (One honest note from a 60-hour launch playthrough: with only five a year, the reviewer wished there were more and bigger events — so treat the calendar’s quiet stretches as normal.)

Residents gathered around a bonfire at night — the kind of communal evening Moonlight Peaks builds its festivals around.

The Loveage Festival — the romance event

The game’s love-themed celebration is the Loveage Festival, held across Spring 20–21 and hosted by the Love Demon Llemi. We’ve got a full breakdown on its own page — Loveage Festival: dates, stalls & gift exchange — but here are the hooks worth planning for:

  • The community buffet. Residents each contribute a dish to a shared spread, so it pays to have something good cooked and ready beforehand. Turning up with a strong dish is both good manners and a way to make an impression.
  • Secret-admirer gifting. There’s an anonymous gift element — you can give (and receive) a present as a secret admirer. For anyone working the romance system, this is a low-key way to make a move.
  • Meet Llemi. The Loveage Festival is the only time the Love Demon Llemi comes into town from the Pink Grove, so it’s your window to meet — and eventually romance — one of the game’s most unusual dateables.

If you’re courting someone, come prepared: a cooked dish in your bag and a gift in mind turns Loveage into a relationship fast-track.

The Moonlight Ball — the summer gala

The summer counterpart to Loveage is the Moonlight Ball, a formal gala on Summer 20 (a Saturday, from 20:00) held in the Town Hall gardens. It’s a dress-up event themed around love and unity: the Moon Goddess crowns the pair voted best-dressed couple with the Moonlight Crowns, and Llemi attends too. Come in your finest outfit and paired up with someone you’re courting. Full details on its own page — Moonlight Ball: date, best-dressed couple & Moonlight Crowns.

Master Soup & the fashion show

Two more of the year’s festivals are activity-driven:

  • Master Soup is a cooking competition. You pick a recipe from a list, then have to select its correct ingredients from memory — a genuine test of your cooking knowledge. Pick a wrong ingredient and the judge flags it immediately so you can retry, which makes it forgiving enough that you can win even after a few mistakes.
  • The fashion show hands you a styling challenge — you pick out costumes for NPCs to wear on the runway. It’s a lighter, creative event that rewards an eye for the game’s deep wardrobe.

Both, like the other festivals, tend to stock exclusive recipes and furniture you’ll want to grab while they’re available.

The Evernight Festival

The Evernight Festival is another confirmed seasonal event — a night-time celebration that fits the game’s perpetual-twilight mood. Like the other festivals, it draws the whole town together for seasonal mini-games, exclusive vendors and special items. As a rule with these events, the value is the same: the whole town gathers, so it’s a dense window for socialising and gifting.

Pumpkin-Head & the Halloween season

This is where Moonlight Peaks shows its true colours. The Pumpkin Head character and a wave of Halloween-flavoured autumn events anchor the spooky-season festivities — lantern-lit gatherings, seasonal dishes like Pumpkin Pie, and the kind of cozy-gothic atmosphere the whole game is built around. The autumn demo leaned into this hard, and it’s clearly a centrepiece of the calendar.

Seasonal touches ripple outward too: autumn brings its own crops and recipes, so the harvest season and its festival reinforce each other. If you only catch one stretch of the calendar, the spooky season is the one that best captures what makes the game special.

Getting the most from festivals

  • Watch the calendar. Festivals are seasonal and easy to miss — note the date and keep the evening free.
  • Cook ahead for Loveage — and Master Soup. A ready dish for the buffet (and a gift for a secret admirer) makes the romance festival pay off, and knowing your recipes’ ingredients wins Master Soup.
  • Treat events as social fast-tracks. With everyone in one place, a festival night advances more relationships than an ordinary one.
  • Lean into the season. Plant and cook the seasonal items so your contributions and your farm match the festival’s theme.

For the romance these events feed into, see the romance guide; for the dishes you’ll bring to the buffet, the cooking & recipes guide; and meet the townsfolk you’ll be celebrating with.

Haeufige Fragen

How many festivals are in Moonlight Peaks?

There are several seasonal festivals — roughly one a month. Confirmed events include the Loveage Festival (the spring romance celebration), the Moonlight Ball (a summer gala on Summer 20), a Master Soup cooking competition, a fashion show, the Evernight Festival, and the Pumpkin-Head Halloween season. A 60-hour launch playthrough felt the calendar was on the sparse side, so plan around them.

What is the Loveage Festival?

The Loveage Festival is the game's romance event — a community buffet where residents each bring a dish, with a secret-admirer gifting element. It's also the one time the Love Demon Llemi ventures into town, so it doubles as your chance to meet him.

What is Master Soup in Moonlight Peaks?

Master Soup is a festival cooking competition. You pick a recipe from a list and then, from memory, select the correct ingredients — a test of your cooking knowledge. If you choose a wrong ingredient the judge tells you immediately so you can retry, which makes it fairly forgiving to win.
