When is the Moonlight Ball?
The Moonlight Ball runs once a year on Summer 20, which lands on a Saturday, and kicks off at 20:00 (8 PM) in the Town Hall gardens. Note it on your in-game calendar — like every festival here, miss it and the next one is a full in-game year away. Keep the evening of Summer 20 free and head to the town hall once night falls.
The best-dressed couple & the Moonlight Crowns
The centrepiece of the ball is a best-dressed-couple competition. It’s a formal event themed around love and unity, and the residents turn out in their finest attire. At the height of the celebration, the Moon Goddess presents the Moonlight Crowns to the pair voted the best-dressed couple of the night.
That makes the ball a genuine styling event with a payoff:
- Dress up. Put your best outfit together before you arrive — a strong, coordinated look is what the vote rewards.
- Pair up. The crowns go to a couple, so it plays into the game’s romance system — turning up dressed to match someone you’re courting is both a good look and a relationship beat.

Who shows up
The Moonlight Ball pulls the whole town into one place, and two notable figures attend:
- The Moon Goddess, who presides over the night and awards the Moonlight Crowns. The ball is one of the rare times she appears — fitting for a summer festival held under a full moon. (Her cosmic twin, the Sun God, is the deity tied to the height of summer instead.)
- Llemi, the Love Demon, who — true to a festival about love and unity — turns up as well. If you’re working on romancing Llemi, this is a second event (alongside the Loveage Festival) where he’s around.
How to make the most of it
- Free up Summer 20. It’s a one-night, once-a-year event that starts at 8 PM.
- Come dressed to impress. The best-dressed-couple vote is the whole point — build a proper outfit beforehand.
