You can date freely in Moonlight Peaks, but you only get to marry one resident — so the big question is who, and how. The short answer: all 23 romance options are marriage candidates, marriage is monogamous, and settling down unlocks the Tied the Knot achievement (plus the game’s most on-brand perk — turning your spouse into a vampire). This guide is the marriage half of romance; for the dating mechanics, gifts and heart events that get you to a proposal, see the romance guide.

Who can you marry?

Every one of the town’s 23 romanceable residents can become your spouse. There’s no gender locking — court and marry whoever you click with. Here’s the full marriage roster, by household:

Yes — you really can marry Death. He’s the one candidate players keep asking about, and he’s on the roster like everyone else. For portraits, birthdays and personalities to help you choose, browse the characters codex — the full romance-options roster.

Dating vs. marriage: date many, marry one

The distinction matters. You can pursue several residents at the same time while dating — though they’ll notice and drop the odd jealous comment if you’re juggling. Marriage, however, is exclusive: you settle down with a single partner. So dating is for exploring; marriage is the commitment you make once you’ve decided. Pick with your heart, because your spouse is forever (and, this being a vampire game, that can be literally forever).

How to get married

Getting to a wedding follows the classic cozy-sim arc, adapted for the night:

  1. Build the relationship. Talk daily, give loved gifts — a colour-matched flower is the fastest friendship lever — and go on dates until you’ve filled their affection to the top.
  2. Propose. Once you’ve maxed the relationship, you can commit to a single partner — marriage is exclusive to one resident, so this is the choice you only make once.
  3. Hold the wedding, which trips the Tied the Knot achievement.

A nice touch on the catering side: the cooking system includes Pink, Red and Yellow Wedding Cakes, so the celebration has its own bespoke bakes.

After the wedding

Two things set marriage apart from just dating:

  • Turn your spouse into a vampire. Once married, you can make your partner one of the undead — a confirmed feature, and about the most Moonlight Peaks reward imaginable. It’s exclusive to marriage.
  • No children. Raising kids isn’t part of the game, so the household stays the two of you (plus, presumably, your three-eyed Hellkitten).

Should you rush it?

No need. Relationship points climb at a generous pace, so you’ll reach the top with anyone you focus on — but the real depth of each character comes through their story events, which unlock as you progress. Court the person whose arc you’re enjoying, not just the one with the fastest hearts. When you’re ready to commit, the wedding — and an eternity of company — is waiting.

Who can you marry in Moonlight Peaks?

All 23 romance options are marriage candidates: mermaids Kim, Rei and Tae; witches Fiona, Luna, Noel and Sabrina; werewolves Saga, Ridge and Ludo; vampires Orlock, Samael, Evan, Elvira and Mina; humans Persephone, Jada and Winston; seers Aras, Alina and Dragan; plus Death itself and the Love Demon Llemi. How do you get married in Moonlight Peaks?

Build a resident's relationship up through talking, gifting and dating until you've reached the top of their affection, then propose and hold a wedding. Unlike dating — where you can see several people at once — marriage is exclusive to a single partner, and getting married unlocks the Tied the Knot achievement.

Can you have children in Moonlight Peaks?

No. You can date and marry a resident and settle down together, but raising children is not a feature in the game.

Can you turn your spouse into a vampire in Moonlight Peaks?

Yes — turning your partner into one of the undead is a confirmed feature after marriage, a fitting twist for a vampire life-sim. It's a reward unique to marriage rather than ordinary dating.
